Malacca is one of the states in Malaysia that is rich with history and culture. As part of the government effort in promoting tourism in Malaysia, Malacca has been put into attention as one of the possible top tourist destination in Malaysia. A bazaar is a permanently enclosed marketplace where  a lot o shops and stalls that sell a variety of goods including food, crafts, garments, and so on. Its presence will increase access to local food and also highlight the local culture of the communities. This bazaar will be a driving force that promotes the forgotten heritage merchandise of Melaka.

To connect surrounding attractions towards heritage bazaar, a central plaza is create as the central point to gather tourists. Joyful colors reflect the vibrant Peranakan, Straits Chinese or Nyonya- Baba culture. A variety colors of glass represent Peranakan spread from the sunken plaza which also reflect the surrounding attractions. They represent the beautiful history and cultures of Malacca stories.

Every zone of stalls have a center courtyard for performance, busking and also exhibition. The central sunken plaza lowers the center part of bazaar makes it more intimate, which prevent noise from main road. Besides, the high ceiling design elevate the height of ground floor to create openness and connects both Museum Samudera and Merdeka Park. These pathways are like arteries, connect all the attractions in Malacca Town and make them alive from day to night.
